Chris Avellone Joins Republic Games for New RPG Project

So, Chris Avellone, that dude who’s been in the games biz forever, just hooked up with Republic Games. Or, maybe it’s the other way around? Anyway, I stumbled on this LinkedIn post – Adam Williams, the guy who started things there, is buzzing. Seriously, he’s all about Chris’s killer track in the game world. Said something to Eurogamer about a new RPG they’re cooking up. Lots of twists, choices, you know, that kinda stuff.

“Chris has pretty much laid the groundwork for epic RPGs – the interactive storytelling kingpin, you could say. Naturally, he topped our wish list,” Williams throws out there on LinkedIn.

These guys want to dive back into a dark fantasy vibe – immersive gameplay and all that. Sounds ambitious, right? They’re aiming to capture that old-school magic but crank it up. The whole team seems hyped like it’s gonna be a big deal. Expect some gossip and more details rolling in.

Oh, and can’t skip the messy bits – in 2020, Chris had some sexual harassment claims tossed his way, but he’s been denying them. Yup, the plot thickens.
