Sure thing, here we go:

Okay, so Pokémon games, right? They’re usually full of surprises when it comes to figuring out which little critters are gonna kick butt in battles. Honestly, sometimes the most random ones become legends. But, uh, Pokémon GO isn’t exactly the same playground. They kinda trimmed down the whole battling thing to make it easier for us busy folks on the go. They’ve ditched stuff like Abilities and Held Items and, I dunno, even the idea that some types are immune to others. So, some Pokémon like Accelgor suddenly aren’t as cool as they should be. But that doesn’t mean all hope is lost with how Pokémon GO could tweak things.
You know, certain Pokémon usually get their edge from being the fastest dudes out there. It’s like speed but on tiny monster steroids. Don’t get too excited, though. Speed alone doesn’t save the day—a killer move set and high attacks are way more the deal-breaker. Anyway — wait, no — where was I? Oh yeah, Accelgor and friends lose all their speed mojo ’cause Pokémon GO doesn’t care about that. Maybe giving these guys a new version of the Speed stat might just work, who can say?
So here’s me randomly thinking, in Pokémon GO, all the cool kids like the legendaries or whoever have these Mega Evolutions, which basically put them on a pedestal. Many of the regular Pokémon? They just sit there being, well, regular. But this Speed thing could let Accelgor, Ninjask, and Greninja do their thing again, possibly. I might be daydreaming, but it sounds neat.
Oh, the whole Speed thing—sure, combat’s one of the more obvious ways it’d get used. But maybe it could change the game? Like in real-time combat, maybe faster Pokémon could spam their moves a bit quicker if that makes sense. And since the game’s obsessed with us wandering around in the real world, could Speed mean we walk less to earn Candy with our Buddy Pokémon or hatch Eggs quicker? Not sure why I thought of that, but it’s an idea.
And, um, if they did decide to roll this Speed concept into Pokémon GO, imagine Deoxys (in its Speed Forme) just ruling the roost ‘cause it’s naturally crazy fast. Wouldn’t it be wild if they pull this off? It could seriously flip everything upside down. Changes like this could shake everything up, like when they introduced Mega Evolutions. But then again, maybe they’ve got a bazillion other things on their radar and Speed’s just, I dunno, one random cool thing they haven’t done yet.
So, anyway, with all the new bits they keep adding to Pokémon GO, putting Speed on the table might just spark some spice into the game. Who knows, some Pokémon might finally get their moment to shine. Or maybe not. It’s a toss-up at this point.
