Life sim inZOI is on the brink of dropping its first DLC, and today, Krafton decided to spill some beans. The DLC, called Island Getaway, is hitting the shelves (or you know, the digital world; who still shops in stores?) for free.
Mac users, guess what? The game’s finally making its debut on your devices. Yeah, about time, right?
So, Island Getaway. It’s landing on August 20. Kinda sneaky, isn’t it? Just after its grand unveiling at gamescom on August 19. We all thought they’d pull a surprise drop right at the event, but nah, Krafton couldn’t help but leak a bit of info ahead of time.
The DLC introduces a map called Cahaya, drawing vibes from Southeast Asia. Two islands, brimming with new activities like swimming—maybe not Olympic training level, but fun. Oh, and there’s snorkeling too. I still can’t get the hang of breathing through those tubes, but that’s probably just me.
Speaking of new, there’s a bunch of lifestyle stuff too. Farming! And yes, tropical outfits because who doesn’t want their character strutting in floral shirts and funky hairstyles?
Alongside Island Getaway, there’s this update jazzing up the main game. Say hello to farming, fishing, and even gem crafting on all maps. Plus, you can zoom around on electric scooters. Imagine the sound—like a swarm of bees lost in a city.
Character interactions are getting spicy as well. Krafton’s added new elements like random gatherings—kinda sounds like my everyday life—and thought bubbles. Cooperative actions are also in the mix, designed to make Zois’ bonds deeper.
Quality of life improvements? Absolutely. Expect a slicker UI, a whopping 90 fresh music tracks, and hang on… gamepad support is in! Still testing it, but hey, progress.
Oh, did I mention August 20 also sees inZOI on Mac? Available on Steam and the App Store. Finally, right?
