Lego Voyagers, huh? So, I was watching this Summer Game Fest thingy in 2025, right? And bam! Light Brick Studio and Annapurna Interactive pop this new Lego game on the screen. It’s called Lego Voyagers—some kind of cozy twist on those games It Takes Two and Split Fiction. I swear, it’s got you and a buddy being these tiny Lego bricks trying to hit space. Sounds wild? Or maybe just me thinking, “How’s a lil’ brick even gonna climb a step?”
Anyway, the trailer’s out there with these chunky duos wandering through jungles, scrapyards—oh, and slow rivers that seem to drift forever. They’re like building gadgets from tram cars to rocket ships that look… uhh, not exactly NASA-grade, you know? But hey, no big info on how you chat with your partner in crime, though they mentioned this Friend Pass. So, like It Takes Two, you can drag your friend along, fair and square, without them needing to buy the game. Play modes? Yeah, it’s got local, online, split-screen—you name it.
Now, thinking back, Traveler’s Tales has been churning out those Lego tales like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings… for like two decades? Crazy, huh? But guess what? Lego’s shaking things up. I mean, they got cozy with Epic Games creating a Lego-packed Fortnite. And they’ve let Guerrilla Games spin off with Lego Horizon Adventures, which was, what, 2024? Lego’s kinda mixing it up, trying to rethink gaming. CEO dude Niels Christiansen even threw hints to the FT about maybe opening their own game studio. Sounds ambitious.
Christiansen was like, “As long as we stick with the Lego flag, we’re gaming it up for kids, digital or not.” Or something along those lines.
And, oh, about the Lego Voyagers date—still MIA. But when it does crash land, you’ll find it on everything. PlayStation 5, 4, Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PC… the lot.
