Where to Purchase Nintendo Switch 2 Console on Amazon Prime Day 2025

Hey, so I guess everyone and their neighbor wants the Nintendo Switch 2 now, right? It just hit the shelves, and man, it’s like trying to catch a unicorn. Every store is dancing with empty shelves because apparently, everybody NEEDS this thing yesterday. Okay, it’s Prime Day week, and you might think, “Oh, deals!” but nope, not for the console. Accessories, maybe, if that’s any consolation.

So, what’s the big deal? Well, the Switch 2 is like the original Switch but on steroids. Bigger size, bigger controllers, and, oh wow, a brand spanking new dock and kickstand. Fancy. And just saying, if you’re a game hoarder, you might want to grab a microSD Express card ’cause 256GB might not cut it for your digital treasure trove.

Let’s talk numbers: this baby comes with a 7.9-inch screen and it’s thicker than its older brother, at 13.9 mm. The 1080p display is a notch up from 720p, which sounds techy enough for most folks. Pair it up with the dock, and it supposedly does 4K, if the stars align and you squint just right. Without the dock? We’re talking 120fps with HDR, depending on what voodoo your game’s doing.

Right now, you can snag it solo or in bundles. We’re talking maybe Mario Kart or some extra doohickeys. Keep hitting refresh on this page because we’re all in this scavenger hunt together.

Jumping over the pond, for the U.S. folks, there are a few places not being totally clutch at keeping it in stock. Yep, I’m looking at you, Antonline, Walmart, GameStop, Newegg, Best Buy, and Target. They blink, this thing’s gone. Last I checked, July 07, 2025.

Our UK friends aren’t faring any better. Shops like ShopTo, Very, and Argos are putting up a good fight, but it’s basically a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ deal. Believe me, I’m not just making this up.
