Oh man, so last week, we threw out this challenge, right? We wanted you to dig into those games you adore and find faces—like, the ones that just burst with expression. Had to use #PSshare #PSBlog. And wow, did you guys deliver! Here’s me trying to wrap my head around some standout moments:
Okay, first off, we have this amazing shot by some user called MrioMoreno5. We see Ellie—yeah, from The Last of Us Part II. Her face just lights up like… like a kid on Christmas morning, you know? Wild how much emotion can hit you from pixels, right?
Moving along, Couch_Gamer2k23—great name, by the way—shared this capture of Maelle from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. She’s got this super apprehensive look. Like, you can almost feel her hesitation. Makes me wonder what she’s seeing. Or maybe she just got stuck on a tough level? Who knows!
And then, oh boy, EmperorHal captures Deacon from Days Gone Remastered. This guy is full-on grimacing, holding a weapon. You can nearly hear the gears grinding in his head. I mean, dude looks like he’s wrestled a bear or something.
Switching gears—sort of—a user called xirantics gave us this cheeky grin from Cait Sith in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. It’s the kind of smile that says they’re up to something. Or maybe they just pulled off a prank? Either way, it’s got “mischief” written all over it.
Then, there’s player1pov with Raven in Stellar Blade looking fierce. Like, “don’t mess with me” fierce. You know that feeling when someone’s got that look in their eyes? Kind of freezes you up for a second.
Oh, and RhodWulfLeon’s shot of Aloy in Horizon Forbidden West. She’s sitting in the grass, looking all wistful. Makes me think of those quiet moments in life when you’re just lost in thought—grass tickling your legs and the wind whispering secrets. Sorry, where was I? Got carried away there.
Anyway, if you’re itching to see more of these expressive captures, just hit up #PSshare #PSBlog on Twitter or Instagram. Curious about next week’s theme? It’s a bit of a twist—monochromatic! Pick a game, spotlight one color, and who knows? You might get featured. Deadline’s 11:59 PM PT on June 4, 2025. Time to get creative!
