Warframe’s got this new thing – Isleweaver – and it’s buzzing everywhere: PC, consoles, you name it. Dropped with Update 39, this takes us back to Duviri. Seriously, it’s like returning to an old neighborhood you used to hang around in, now with new attractions.
So, Warframe’s been around a while, right? A dozen years and 20 expansions later, here we are. 2025 kicked off with Techrot Encore in March, and that shook things up a bit.
But, back to Isleweaver. June 25, mark that down, was when the Canadian devs threw this at us. It’s got this event, Operation: Eight Claw, which is a wild ride. Imagine facing down Major Neci Rusalka and her creepy Murmur gang, building up to a big showdown against some rogue Warframe that’s part spider. Like, what?!
And get this, Warframe now counts 61 playable characters. Oraxia is the latest – all about hunting and poison. She’s bundled with slick gear like Spinnerex and Scyotid. There’s even a new enemy class – Unseeing Heralds, dropping something called Temporal Dust, kinda sounds like fairy tale stuff but useful for crafting Oraxia.
Anyway — no, wait — the onboarding improvements for new players? That’s been interesting. Junction missions are tweaked, offering goodies for tasks. The clearer objective list is totally a win for us scatterbrains.
What else? Valkyr’s abilities got a makeover. Fancy new TennoGen stuff, more mods, quality changes just to make life easier in-game. Oh, and even post-event resources from Isleweaver are sticking around. That’s handy, right?
Speaking of highlights – Scholar’s Landing, whole new node on Duviri, it’s a visual treat. Imagine discovering this hidden spot. You got these Murmur fights and Oraxia in a Spiral mission. Also, the Thalys – a heavy scythe that’s customizable? Like, dream weapon much?
Valkyr getting a revamp makes her a bit less rage-y, which is good if you’re looking for a calmer gameplay. But I’m all about those new augments for more build variety.
And – don’t gloss over this – they’ve improved player experiences. Captain Vor, reimagined as a cooler intro boss? Seems like they’re stepping into movie trailer territory.
Lastly, small but mighty changes: Captura tweaks, dojo decos, Helminth feeds that don’t drive you nuts, load outs up to 30 slots, and slam attacks scaling with how high you fall. It’s like they’re reading our minds.
True, that’s a lot to unpack. Just everything got a bit better, more colorful. New skins too – who doesn’t like a fresh look? Oraxia Bundle, Citrine Collection – the usual eye candy.
So, that’s the Isleweaver lowdown. A wild, fantastical ride – and you know, maybe worth pressing pause on life to check it out. There you go, that’s Warframe’s latest magic right there.
