Oh man, where do I even start with this craziness? So, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, right? It’s not just about planes anymore. Late August or maybe September — the dates are kinda wobbly, but stay with me — we’re diving straight into Jurassic World territory. Yep, you heard me. Dinosaurs! And, like, how is that even a thing? But here we are.
You got these fancy islands and all, you know, because why not throw some prehistoric beasts into your flight jaunt? Picture it: you’re cruising through the skies, and suddenly bam! A T-Rex is eyeing you from below. Crazy, right? Not sure if the dinos come with sounds, like maybe a roar here or there, but whoa, what a trip!
The game has always been this modding frenzy. People adding everything from campsite gear to other wild stuff. Now, Orbx Studios — these guys are always deep into the modding scene, hailing from down under in Australia — they’re stitching together this whole dinosaur gig. Do they know how to party or what?
Oh, and there’s this collab happening. Universal Products & Experiences are in on it, and it seems Jurassic World is not just sticking with parks and movies. They’re flying high, too — go figure. Those infamous islands, Isla Nublar and the Muertes Archipelago, with all the bells and whistles. We’re talking airstrips, helipads, and a line-up of dinos that’d make any fossil hunter drool. Hopefully, don’t mix up take-off with getting eaten.
Costa Rica gets a makeover, too. Airports and marinas there are spruced up — I know, right? Who thinks of that? But somehow, it’s happening. And! Rumor mill says something might brew for the older Microsoft Flight Simulators. Plus, X-Plane 12? Maybe later.
If dinos aren’t your thing (uh, why not though?), Jurassic World fans should mark their calendars. A new game, Jurassic World Evolution 3, is supposed to hit October 21. But, let’s back it up, MS Flight Sim on a PS5 might be on the horizon — or it’s just wishful thinking fluttering around. It’s all a wild ride, literally and otherwise.
