Alright, I’ll dive into this and give you something that sounds like me just talking. Here we go:
Alright, so CI Games dropped another patch for Lords of the Fallen. You know, the game’s kinda old now, but they keep fiddling with it like it’s a prized project or something. This uh, new patch, 2.0.13 (not that you were keeping track, right?), seems like they’re all about fixing those annoying crashes in co-op. Like, who even let those bugs sneak in, huh?
Anyway, CI Games seems pretty committed. Which is kinda like, do they sleep? Or just live off caffeine and player feedback? More patches are cooking, which is… good, I guess?
Remember April? Yeah, that Version 2.0 drop kinda stirred things up – shared progression co-op, a fancy jump button, something about a Friend’s Pass, and on and on. It felt like a whole new game, but also… not? Maybe it’s just me.
So, May 9 rolls around, and boom, we’re up to 2.0.13. Few tweaks here, a patch there. They say it’s not a big one, but you fix a crashing session or save, and maybe that’s just what someone needed. Also, Crucible’s less crash-prone now, which is good since losing progress makes people rage, like throwing-the-controller levels of rage, right?
Oh! And the Empyrean Key – some poor souls couldn’t get it if someone else snatched it first. Whoops! Now, that’s cleared up. Also, NPCs were acting up, not showing that "Offer Remembrances" button. A little smack on the head, and they’re back in line.
Honestly, seeing CI Games keep at it is kind of warm-fuzzy. Feedback seems like their fuel, and extra patches are “soon,” whatever soon means. Maybe they’ve got more nifty stuff hiding up their sleeves.
October’s looming, with the game turning two. Happy early birthday, I guess? Players are still hopping into it, and I wonder if a sequel would just suck everyone back in. Though, they’d better keep the patches rolling for this one in 2023 – folks seem pretty into it.
Anyway, back to gaming. Or was it patch notes? I don’t know. These bugs kinda make me question everything.
