This week sees a slew of new Xbox games hitting the shelves, but the star of the show is undoubtedly Compulsion Games’ South of Midnight.
Gamers who grabbed the Premium Edition started playing back on April 3, but for those waiting on the Standard Edition, mark your calendars for April 8. Excitingly, as a first-party Xbox title, it’s landing straight into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass right from the get-go.
In my review of South of Midnight, I expressed my appreciation for the game, saying, "I’ve really enjoyed the tale of a young Weaver on a mission to save her mother, and I’m eager to see more of Hazel in future adventures. This game is a heartfelt tribute to Southern Gothic and the South, leaving players with a profound experience."
