Oh man, where do I even start with this… So, Saber Interactive, yeah? These guys have been cranking out some pretty wild simulation games. You ever heard of the Runner series? Probably not, but stick with me — it’s worth it. It all kicked off with Mudrunner back in 2017. Kinda feels like forever ago, right? Then they kept the party going with Snowrunner and even Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game. Gotta admit, each one just got better. Like, noticeably better. Weirdly satisfying if you’re into that kind of thing.
Then, boom, they drop Roadcraft. Feels like it came out of nowhere last month. It’s got this killer combo of obsessively detailed work and construction vibes. Not sure how they nailed it, but they did. Focus Entertainment’s parent company is calling it a massive win. Like, one of their best launches ever. Makes you think, right?
So our dude Ed had some strong feelings about it… called Roadcraft a “convincing argument” — whatever that really means — like, turning random stuff into amazing games. Guess he’s right. The game’s all about construction stuff but way more rewarding than shooting things or whatever. Go figure.
Others are loving it too. Steam saw crazy numbers when it launched. It’s like everyone wanted a piece of the Roadcraft action. Even Focus’s bosses are impressed. Pullup Entertainment Group — they own Focus — dropped some financial details today. Apparently, the game’s doing even better than they expected. Over 600,000 players hopping on this thing. That’s kinda nuts when you think about it.
The CEO of Pullup, Geoffroy Sardin — fancy name, right? — couldn’t stop talking about the game’s awesome start. They’re hyped, calling it one of their top launches ever. Seriously, when was the last time you heard such enthusiasm from a CEO?
Feeling inspired to try Roadcraft? Maybe wishlist it or grab it on Steam. Or not, no pressure. Got plenty of other sandbox and building stuff if that’s your jam. Super random fact, but our team’s on Google News. Daily updates, reviews, whatnot. Or if you’re into chatting about this, there’s always our Discord. Pretty vibrant place, if I do say so myself.
Catch you there? Who knows.
