With a Nintendo Account, you can dive into the My Nintendo rewards program, gathering points as you buy qualified digital games from Nintendo eShop. You can even earn points just for using Nintendo apps on your smartphone or logging into various Nintendo services such as the Nintendo eShop itself.

Just a heads up: Check the Nintendo eShop or game pages for the latest on pricing. If you’re keen on downloading demos from Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch, registration of a Nintendo Account is a must. Terms and conditions apply, of course.

For purchasing download games, downloading demos, or grabbing free software from the Nintendo eShop on the official website, you’ll need your Nintendo Account synced up with your Nintendo Switch console. Remember, your console should be registered as the active console for downloads for your Nintendo Account. This involves visiting the Nintendo eShop on your device at least once.
