THQ Nordic just blurted out that their Digital Showcase 2025 is going live on August 1st. Kinda like when your friend suddenly decides to throw a party and you’re like, “Wait, what day is this happening?”
So, mark your calendars or just scribble it on a post-it. The show kicks off at 12pm PDT, 3pm on the East Coast, and for my night owls in Europe, 8pm BST or 9pm CEST. No clue how long you’ll be glued to your screen, though. Maybe an hour? Maybe a whole afternoon? Who knows, right?
They’re basically shouting from the rooftops: “Get ready to lose your mind or at least your evening.” Not their exact words, but you get it. They hinted at some big premieres, updates on games we’ve heard whispers about, plus those sneaky surprises. Or were they hinting? Sometimes I wonder if they mock us just a little bit.
Oh boy, they’re also teasing stuff like Gothic 1 Remake, Titan Quest II, REANIMAL, The Eternal Life of Goldman, Wreckfest 2… and probably other cool stuff they’ve been clutching like a poker player hiding aces. You can almost see them winking through the screen.
Is it weird to say I’m already imagining the hype? The noise of engines roaring or magical spells being cast. No idea, but it’s stuck in my head. And, oh! If a trailer drops right before, don’t go grabbing popcorn just yet. Keep your snacks ready though.
