Alright, real talk here: Lies of P—ever heard of it? Well, it’s an action role-playing thing, and apparently, three million people are digging it. I stumbled on this tidbit somewhere, probably on Twitter (because where else?), and it got announced on June 20th. Just after they dropped some DLC, called Overture, earlier in June. And here’s something wild—this DLC thingy was raking in more cash on Steam than the original game. Go figure.
So, Lies of P first hit the scene in September 2023. I mean, timelines are tricky; can barely keep track of my own life, let alone game releases. Anyway, people are buying this game like hotcakes. But the DLC’s sales? Total mystery. And someone from Lies of P, probably super jazzed, sent out this cryptic tweet like, “Three million puppets or humans?” Honestly, beats me what that even means, but it’s kinda cool, right?
Bottom line? The developers are grateful, you know, sending virtual hugs or whatever to the fans. It’s sweet, in a robotic, digital-world sort of way.
