Global PlayStation Store Update – April 29, 2025

Oh boy, so, uh, every week or so, Sony’s out here throwing new stuff at all of us who own their, um, PlayStations. You know — PS4, PS5, that VR thing, all that jazz. They’ve got this, like, whole list of what’s new in the PlayStation Store. And, hey, if you didn’t know, PlayStation LifeStyle’s got this thing where they list out the updates for big regions worldwide. So, you might wanna peek in every Tuesday if keeping up with the latest gaming stuff is your jam. Or don’t. No pressure.

North American Scoop — April Madness or Whatever

So they’ve got this April lineup for PlayStation Plus Essential. Might as well tell you what’s what:

• Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (Yeah, PS4)
• RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5, obviously)
• The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (Both PS4 and PS5, because why not?)

PSVR Games – whoops, nothing here. Move along, I guess.

PS4 & PS5 Cornucopia of Games (Is that the right word? Maybe?)

Here’s a super random list of games, all jumbled up, because order isn’t really our thing today:

• 1-2-Fantastic Word Search! Wow, thrilling title.
• 9th Dawn Remake. Didn’t know there were eight before.
• AGENT 07 – SPY REVENGE. That sounds sneaky.
• Airplane Racing Championship. Just don’t crash.
• Amerzone – The Explorer’s Legacy…not sure what that’s about.
• ANNIE: Last Hope. Sounds dramatic.
• Arcade Archives PINBALL ACTION. Nostalgic vibes?
• Army Bus Driving Simulator. Yep, that’s a thing.
• Bartender Hustle. Guess someone’s mixing drinks.
• A Blackout Protocol Report. Mysterious much?
• Cat From Hell – Cat Simulator. This sounds terrifying.
• Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. What a name!
• Colorful Boi 2. Wonder what happened to Boi 1?
• Cooking Companions. Maybe it involves food?
• DAYS GONE. Think I’ve heard of this one.
• Deep Deep Deep Nightmare. That’s three deeps, folks.
• EcoGnomix. Uh, eco-friendly gnome adventures?
• The Fairy’s Secret. Probably sparkly.
• FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves. Sounds intense.
• Forza Horizon 5. Driving, I think?
• Fruit Collector. Not sure why, but alright.
• Gnomes and Knights. Seems like a fairytale clash.
• Hegzis. No clue what this is.
• Hell Froze Over. Did it now?
• Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption. Redemption tales seem popular.
• The Jumping Cheese Maze. What even is this?
• LISTEN UP! WE TRIED TO MAKE “THOSE GAMES” EVEN MORE EXTREME! SOME THINGS HAVE TO BE LEARNED THE HARD WAY! Seems like someone’s making a statement.
• Logiart Grimoire. Sounds magical.
• NanoApostle. Sounds futuristic.
• Oppidum. Like a fort or something?
• Out of Moves. Don’t get stuck.
• Paper Plane. Yep, a game. Really.
• Pilot Sports. Flying adventures, probably.
• Pixel Retro Drift – Arcade Car Racing. Racer vibes.
• Pixel Warrior. Pixels everywhere.
• R.E.P.A. Operation. Full of periods.
• Sakura Bunny Girls. An interesting combo.
• siMarket Cloth Store Simulator. Maybe you run this store?
• Sky Revolver. Up in the clouds?
• Squarena. A square arena, maybe?
• Sqwrk. Short for something?
• SubwaySim 2. Not the sandwich.
• Sunderfolk. That’s curious.
• Super Technos World: River City & Technos Arcade Classics. A throwback, I bet.
• Supermarket CEO Simulator. Be the boss, handle groceries.
• Theme Park Jam. Maybe crowded lanes?
• Warring Universe. Sounds epic.
• WEED DRUG EMPIRE. Well, this is straightforward.
• World of Goo 2. More gooey stuff.
