Oh man, where do I even start with this? So, Warframe’s got this new thing cooking, and it’s like, all about shooting off to Tau—another star system or something. Sounds wild, right?
Okay, so there’s this thing they’re calling The Old Peace. It’s supposed to drop at the end of the year. Some convention or whatever, TennoCon? They spilled just a few beans there. Like, not a lot, which is kinda annoying, but also intriguing. I mean, sometimes a mystery is nice. Or maybe I’m just too lazy to hunt for details. Anyway.
So, check this out. Tau is like this BIG DEAL in Warframe. It’s like, the ultimate storytelling playground or something. I think folks tried to reach it before and it didn’t pan out. It’s all tangled up in this crazy plot. They’re pretty hush-hush about where The Old Peace fits in all that. Keep us guessing, huh?
Oh, and the trailer—wow. It was, not gonna lie, a bit of a trip. We see this Operator character, right? With Loid and the Lotus tagging along. They’re doing some kind of mind experiment to dig up memories of Tau. Childhood buddies with Adis, who’s apparently a Sentient? That whole scene was peaceful until—bam! Rebellion strikes on some moon. Chaos! Classic storytelling twist, if you ask me.
Feeling lost in all this? Don’t even sweat it. It’s actually a great time to dive into Warframe. Besides this new chapter—happening in late 2025—there’s this cool quest, “The Teacher,” set for fall. Sumo Digital’s helping out with it. Seems it’ll school players about modding. Apparently, modding is a BIG deal in Warframe. Who knew, right? Seems like they’ve never really spelled it out before.
And, hold up, exciting stuff—they’re adding Uriel, a new Warframe! Plus, there’s this solo thing about the “Devil’s Triad” with Uriel, Harrow, and Wisp? Protoframes? Don’t ask me what that’s about. Sounds intense, though. More info’s coming in October on Digital Extremes’ devstream. Mark your calendars—or don’t. Up to you!
