Alright, so here’s the deal. Last fall, Nintendo gave this Switch Online trial thing a whirl. And guess what? It’s back. More folks can jump in and try out the app.
Starting today? Yeah, from 6 p.m. ET, if you’re over 18 and you got that Expansion Pack? You can get in on this. Applications open, like, Monday at 11 a.m. and close down at 10:59 a.m. Wednesday. Something about Japanese folks maybe dealing with a lottery (kind of wild, right?), but everyone else gets in by jumping in fast. The whole thing kicks off at 9 p.m. ET on July 28 and runs till 9:59 p.m. on August 10.
Here’s what’s different this time: October’s run had a cap at 10,000 players. Now? It’s shooting up to 40,000 worldwide. Seriously, four times more! Plus, they’re letting players from Canada, Mexico, Brazil join the lineup with the US, Japan, UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain folks. And yeah, you can now apply with a group – up to four people. More the merrier, I guess?
